Syllabus Content

RESP 10 covers both regulatory and product knowledge content for REIT management, including: - REIT management regulatory framework in Singapore - Licensing requirements and conduct of business for REIT managers - SFA regulated activities relating to REIT management - REIT product knowledge: trust structure, investment mandates, property types - Financial analysis for REITs: NAV, distribution yield, leverage ratios - Market conduct and ethics for REIT managers - Prevention of financial crimes (AML/CFT) - Skills for REIT management practice

RESP Category Explanation

The "RESP" designation (versus "RES") indicates that this module combines: - Rules, Ethics and Skills content (equivalent to a RES module) AND - Product Knowledge content (equivalent to a CM-* module)

This integrated format is used for REIT management because the product knowledge (REIT analysis) is inseparable from the rules and conduct obligations for a REIT manager.
